MZA helped me with a tricky loft extension to navigate Ealing Council and the planning rules that they seem to apply in a fairly inconsistent manner, depending on who you talk to. I concluded that it helps hugely to have a professional team to deal with the council and MZA were excellent in planning and presenting a novel approach to make planning approval a no-brainer. The team (Bho, Yusuf and Anita) were excellent and got me through the process with a minimal amount of stress, so if you are dealing with council planning, I would recommend a talk with MZA – you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

I used MZA to help with my application for planning permission to replace the shopfront of my cafe. After doing some research on a few planning consultants and reading some exemplary reviews I chose to go with MZA Planning. Firstly their reviews and the testaments of their previous customer are fully merited! They not only provide such a professional and transparent service, their price is more than competitive, its value for money. As a first time business owner, I found the application process daunting and extremely protracted, especially being in green conservation area. MZA took care of everything, from site surveys, CAD drawings to the arguments in the application. They advised and updated me on every step of the process, and more importantly, chased and hounded the council when they fell behind. I was very impressed by their attention to detail, especially in their set up of a customer specific dropbox which you can access at anytime and view all documents pertaining to the case and also the clear breakdown of their invoices. After many months of trying to have sensible conversations with the planning department at Hounslow, I was worn down to the point of giving up. At every opportunity Hounslow simply said NO and maintained a desire to show no common sense and almost demonstrated an appetite to simply play games because they could. It was all very depressing until one day I received a post card through my door after my third rejected planning application. The post card was from MZA. A local, professional planning consultancy that suggested that they could help. I was very sceptical but thought that it was worth paying for a brief consultation. Without sounding too dramatic, that 20 minute meeting changed everything. The team at MZA felt very confident that all of my planning applications should have been accepted first time around.
