After many months of trying to have sensible conversations with the planning department at Hounslow, I was worn down to the point of giving up. At every opportunity Hounslow simply said NO and maintained a desire to show no common sense and almost demonstrated an appetite to simply play games because they could. It was all very depressing until one day I received a post card through my door after my third rejected planning application. The post card was from MZA. A local, professional planning consultancy that suggested that they could help. I was very sceptical but thought that it was worth paying for a brief consultation. MZA helped me with a tricky loft extension to navigate Ealing Council and the planning rules that they seem to apply in a fairly inconsistent manner, depending on who you talk to. I concluded that it helps hugely to have a professional team to deal with the council and MZA were excellent in planning and presenting a novel approach to make planning approval a no-brainer. MZA Planning successfully presented my planning application to the Planning Inspectorate after the local planning authority had denied it.
