I used MZA to help with my application for planning permission to replace the shopfront of my cafe. After doing some research on a few planning consultants and reading some exemplary reviews I chose to go with MZA Planning. As a first time business owner, I found the application process daunting and extremely protracted, especially being in green conservation area. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone at MZA planning for their excellent and professional service. I had contacted other planning companies before coming across MZA, but I did not get the same positive vibe as when I first met with Yussuf. MZA were the only company who readily came out on a site visit to understand my situation first hand. Their prices were also very reasonable compared to another company that charged me more for a few hours of work compared to MZA for the whole case. I had Yussuf and Bho dealing with my case and they are clearly very knowledgable in their fields as they understand all planning issues, what is likely to be granted and what isn’t etc along with a full understanding of the relevant policies that would relate to my case. When presenting the case, they laid out all my arguments to the council in a very professional and concise manner and all backed up by the relevant policies and documents referred to by the council. “When the Council first declined our extension project, I was gutted… only to find that we could do as much, if not more, under Permitted Development, on the advice of our architect. As the work was pretty much finished, a council worker visited the property and rejected everything we had done as unlawful.
