The London Borough of Hackney have recently approved our planning application for the basement as B1 purposes and the ground floor as either B1 or B1/A1 purposes.
Prior to coming to us, the client submitted the application for a change of use which was refused on the grounds of a loss of employment floor space.
The original application proposed the use of the basement and ground floor for retail/business purposes. This was refused on the grounds of employment space being lost, and MZA managed to secure permission for the ground floor as B1 space.
