Approval for: Planning Application for Beauty Clinic

Havering Council: MZA Planning are proud to announce gaining planning permission for a Beauty Clinic for a Change of Use from A1 to D1 within the Havering Council.

The property’s original use was that of a retail store and the proposed drawings presented the site as a beauty clinic that falls within Class D1. The council also agreed to the new clinic including an ‘active frontage’, which involves the clinic showing opening times and advertisements of the store being ran.

Faced with the threat of Planning Enforcement Action the client instructed us to submit a retrospective planning application.

The proposal was approved as the parking provision was to stay the same. The main assessment of this application and primary consideration was the change of use from an A1 class to D1 use as a beauty clinic and the impact to the street scene and residential amenity.
